Alleviating the housing crisis is a priority in Australia, with state and federal governments releasing strategies to fast track much-needed housing for our growing population. Arcadia is working across housing projects of all types in metropolitan and regional locations, including social and public housing, build to rent, low density housing in new suburbs and high-density models in existing communities, a number of which have been recently submitted or approved for development.

Our team understands the role open space and outdoor amenity plays in building new communities and how to apply this to different housing typologies. Whether it’s more green space in new precincts or creative thinking to unlock limited space in existing suburbs, Arcadia’s team of landscape architects and urban designers have the capability to design for sustainable outcomes and strong connected communities.

Our landscape architects and urban designers consider all the aspects of creating neighbourhoods and new communities – with parks, connections to nature, public transport and civic spaces designed for increasing populations.
