Victoria’s BTR residential projects are on the rise

In Melbourne, Arcadia is working on some of the most significant BTR projects in the country, including the recently completed The Gladstone.

Housing projects are a focus in Victoria, with the urgent need to build supply to support Victoria’s growing population. With the government’s Housing Strategy aiming for 1.6 million new homes by 2051, metropolitan and regional Victoria will see an increase in residential projects in all sectors, including build to rent (BTR), social and public housing, low density housing in new suburbs and high-density models in existing neighbourhoods.

The Gladstone Working with international BTR developer, Greystar, Arcadia created a landscape for the new Build to Rent development in South Melbourne, that inspires residents to feel connected to the suburb and community.

District Living, Docklands Currently Australia’s largest approved BTR  project, District Living includes two residential towers with communal space and an activated public realm, including streets, laneways, and a central plaza. Arcadia’s landscape design aims to create a new village with spaces that support a healthy inner-city community.

McNab Avenue Arcadia has developed a landscape concept for the proposed Build to Rent development across two-towers, featuring a communal ground floor, podium, and rooftop spaces. The design creates an attractive lifestyle offering, hosting diverse amenities, events, and experiences.

Collins Wharf 5 and 6 Located beside the Yarra River and Victoria Harbour, the 566 residential units will reconnect Melbourne with this historic waterfront. Arcadia has designed a landscape that will serve as a natural extension of the internal amenities, supporting a variety of engaging outdoor activities.

Riverside Richmond The Riverside development will create a unique residential offering for Victoria Gardens. Arcadia’s landscape design includes outdoor spaces that create social engagement and community for its residents that embrace the naturalistic setting of the Birrarung (Yarra) River corridor.
