2022 has been full of positive developments for the Melbourne team.

In June, Arcadia welcomed Associate Duyen Nguyen back from maternity leave. Being able to draw on Duyen’s decade of experience as a landscape architect and team leader will be invaluable to the team. Duyen has worked on a range of projects, from major infrastructure to complex podium landscapes. She’ll be working alongside Associate Daniel Drummond as they support Nelson Gomes in a leadership capacity.

Arcadia is now located at a beautiful new studio space on Level 22, 459 Collins Street. After starting the Melbourne operation in lockdown two years ago, this move into Arcadia’s first purpose-built office space is an significant milestone for the business.

The new studio accommodates the growing team to support the high-calibre city-shaping collaborations the Melbourne market has engaged Arcadia to deliver, drawing on our unique contribution to project outcomes.

The interior design team from the Billard Leece Partnership is working with Arcadia to design a co-working style space that reflects Arcadia’s practice of integrating the built form and nature. The design features exposed ceilings, concrete floors juxtaposed against warm spotted gum timber and black accents. Our new studio will accommodate flexible spaces for collaboration and staff engagement, as well as enclosed meeting environments for client and team interaction.

The Arcadia Melbourne team is looking forward to the opportunity for their collaborative partners to join them for design sessions, meetings and events.
