Newmarket Dining

First settled in 1860 and owned by the Inglis family for over 100 years, Cbus Property’s Newmarket site has a remarkable history, not just of Randwick’s early days, but also of the Australian equestrian industry. Recognising this, Arcadia has created a character driven landscape strategy that nurtures and celebrates the long and rich cultural history while delivering a completely unique retail / food and beverage activation precinct that has become known as: Newmarket Dining.

People are drawn to the civic plaza by the eye-catching Newmarket sign on Barker Street, fast becoming an important landmark for locals. A central light weight structure allows climber plants to take control creating an ephemeral green spine. Integrated fixed furniture, combined with the lighting and amenity, has created garden rooms allowing for people watching, a moment in the sun or a spot to catch up with a friend.
