The Grand Reve at Castle Hill was designed in collaboration with architects Turner Studio for Kassis Homes. The vision is for a project where landscape and buildings intertwine and operate as an integrated and sustainable system for all to enjoy.
The design references the orchards that once grew on the land, as well as the existing vegetation community of the remnant Turpentine Iron Bark Forest that still exists on-site. Interconnected landscaped ‘rooms’ comprising different scales and uses provide a soothing connection with nature, a series of spaces that can be used throughout the year by taking advantage of the different microclimates created in summer and winter.
The twin towers of the development connect at the podium level offering residents spectacular views towards the Sydney cityscape and the outlying Hills district. The landscaped podium gardens are peppered with seating pods and resident dining areas. Three curated and considered communal spaces are where residents can connect with nature in the company of neighbours, friends and family. Smaller intimate spaces provide zones for reflection whilst tree groves, terraced landscape areas and low wall seating offer informal gathering areas perfect for unwinding.
