Working with DesignInc, Arcadia undertook the design development, documentation and delivery for the Oatley Station upgrade for the Transport Access Program, a Transport NSW initiative to provide a better experience for public transport users.
Building off previous work by GHD and Spackman, Mossop and Michaels, the design aimed to provide better access and improved interchange facilities. This was achieved through the insertion of a new pedestrian bridge with lift access and forecourt areas. From SDR to post construction, Arcadia’s role ensured the redesign of the landscape surrounding the bridge entries improved pedestrian amenity and enhanced the public domain interface for the local community.
