Array at 1 Eden Park

Arcadia worked in collaboration with Architectus to design Array at 1 Eden Park Drive in Macquarie Park, a commercial building which has 5.5 Star NABERS and 5 Star Green Star ratings. Drawing character from surrounding Endangered Ecological Communities, including the Turpentine-Ironbark Forest and Shale-Sandstone Transitional Forest, the landscape and opens spaces enhance the character of Array as an innovation hub within the Macquarie Park commercial zone.

Maintaining the existing Eucalypt street frontage and nestling the landscape within the existing fabric, collaborative and outdoor workspaces have been designed with contemporary workplace design principles, acknowledging that access to well-designed outdoor spaces increases staff happiness, productivity, health and creativity.

The open spaces on the ground floor provide outdoor working, relaxing and dining opportunities throughout, while maximising microclimate. Two accessible workplace areas are provided at Eden Park Drive, while a generous lawn and courtyard nestled to the east provides an inviting morning and lunch time setting to relax and unwind.

The rooftop design increases the opportunity for outdoor space, designed to highlight views, capturing canopy outlook and improving microclimate. Offered communally to tenants, with flexible programmable spaces to work, grow, relax, eat , collaborate and hold events, the rooftops provide occupants with high quality outdoor amenity for groups of all sizes.
