Arcadia Landscape Architecture Construction Update

Here’s an overview of some of Arcadia’s projects underway, including The Langston by Cbus Property (pictured) set to become Epping’s new town centre.

Yamanto Central

Due for mid-year completion, Arcadia Queensland has undertaken the landscape components for this project, including the concept design for the play space, based on the narrative of the local endangered bird wing butterfly.

North Shore Health Hub

Arcadia is designing the open spaces for the BLP-designed North Shore Health Hub, a state-of-the-art healthcare facility soon to be opened adjacent to Royal North Shore Hospital and North Shore Private Hospital.

The University of Tasmania (UTAS) Student Accommodation Hub

Arcadia, working in collaboration with Nettleton Tribe, is creating a new laneway to connect Hobart’s main street (Elizabeth Street), through to the future UTAS STEM Site, transforming the precinct into a vibrant public space and student hub, capitalising on the spectacular views.

Friedlander Place

Accompanying Mirvac’s St Leonards Square and New Hope’s The Landmark, Friedlander Place will give St Leonards a significant new area of public open space with enhanced pedestrian laneway connections from the Pacific Highway to Christie Street and Nicholson Street.

Picton High School

Arcadia has designed a landscape as part of the upgrade of the buildings and grounds of Picton High School. Drawing on the potential of the school’s natural heritage, the tree lined native buffer will be extended into the fabric and identity of the school.

Robinson’s Run, Kangaroo Valley

Arcadia has designed the landscape concept for ‘Robinsons Run’- a house and studio development by Bennett Murada that will reactivate this bushfire ravaged site as a luxe retreat in a rural setting. The approach embodies the surrounding context – an untouched and natural site in a beautiful bush landscape. The design team has relished in the experience of watching the landscape revive as the project progresses.
