We are delighted that Arcadia’s competition scheme for Bradfield Park, in collaboration with Bangawarra and supermanouvre, has been shortlisted in the  2025 Architecture Australia Prize for Unbuilt Work! The Prize seeks conceptually rigorous, inventive responses to contemporary architectural issues.

The brief for Bradfield Central Park was an invitation to create a world-class destination where local and international visitors could explore and discover Australia’s newest and most extraordinary city. Arcadia’s concept allowed the beauty and wonder of the natural world to seamlessly blend with innovation and technology, creating an awe-inspiring, immersive experience that captures the spirit of Country and inspires next generation Australia.

Working with some of the best minds, including Bangawarra, Supermanoeuvre, Hoyne, Civille, Studio ESEM, PAM, Muru Mittigar and Landskip Lab, we designed the park to tell the ancient stories of the local Aboriginal Peoples by allowing visitors to open their spirit and mind to experience Country through all their senses.
