After four years of operation in Queensland, Arcadia is experiencing an exciting period of growth and success. Not only is the studio working on a range of exciting projects across the Master Planning & Urban Design, Retail /Mixed Use, Residential, Education, Commercial and Sport & Recreation sectors, the team has grown to the point where a new studio was required.
Arcadia Brisbane is now located in a light-filled, heritage studio space at:
No.1 Anzac Square
Suite 5A, Level 5 232 Adelaide Street
Brisbane, QLD 4000
The studio move is just one of many exciting developments for the team over the past year, which has included their first industry award win, with Fortitude Valley State Secondary College winning a Landscape Architecture Award for Health & Education Landscapes in the recent Queensland AILA Awards. Ben Newell also joined the team as a second studio Principal, bringing his experience leading multidisciplinary teams on complex urban design and planning projects.
“Recognition of the Arcadia offering is growing in the Queensland market. With some notable projects completed and under construction, we have proven that there is a demand for Arcadia’s approach to design. Our focus on enriching community and Country has been embraced by a range of Queensland clients, who have entrusted us to help them shape meaningful places,” says Nathan Clausen, Principal, Arcadia Queensland.
Nathan, Ben and the team are excited by the opportunities in Queensland’s buoyant market, particularly the unique opportunities to define Brisbane and Queensland for future generations as we head towards the 2032 Olympics.
