Arcadia is delighted to announce that the Queensland team will be delivering the open space for the Inner North Secondary College, Brisbane’s first vertical school. Arcadia will be working alongside Hutchinson Builders, and collaborating with the rest of the design team, which includes architects ThomonAdsett and Cox.

“After demonstrating Arcadia’s extensive experience within the education sector during the tender process, we are excited to apply our experience to the design, development and delivery stages of this landmark project in Brisbane,” says Nathan Clausen, Principal at Arcadia Queensland. “With this being Brisbane’s first vertical school, getting the landscape right is paramount as the school will need outdoor spaces which are adaptable to facilitate learning, recreation and structured school gatherings, including assemblies and performances.”

Arcadia’s capabilities also draw on the team’s proficiency working with prefabricated products and furniture design. For projects like the Inner North Secondary College, this means the ability to deliver cost-effective outcomes which also provide amenity, aesthetics and flexibility of space, as well as having a strong consideration and impact to structure programming.

Construction of this project has commenced with the school due for completion due in 2020. More information can be found here or any queries can be directed to Nathan Clausen on 0413 149 692 or nathanc@arcadia.local.
