Andrew Ewington and Dajon Veldman join Arcadia in exciting growth phase

Andrew Ewington has commenced at Arcadia as Principal in the practice’s Sydney studio, joining new Principal – Urban Design, Dajon Veldman.

Andrew brings over 35 years of experience in landscape architecture, including the successful delivery of numerous landmark landscape developments across New South Wales.

“Andrew has extensive experience in leading large-scale, complex projects with diverse stakeholders, that have consistently resulted in exceptional outcomes. With projects that include Sydney Metro Northwest (SMNW) and Darling Harbour’s public realm,  his commitment to design excellence and client satisfaction will be an invaluable asset to our team as we continue to delivering unparallel value and excellence across Australia,” says Alex Longley, Founding Principal of Arcadia.

With a career spanning a wide range of landscape sectors, including urban design, open space, recreational, educational, institutional, and residential projects, Andrew was drawn to Arcadia’s renowned reputation for delivering world-class developments.

Andrew’s appointment follows the recent engagement of CITICRAFT’s Dajon Veldman as Principal, Urban Design.

With over 25 years of international experience in design and masterplanning, Dajon’s extensive urban design portfolio spans Australia, the Middle East, China, India, and his native The Netherlands. Dajon is working with Arcadia to establish the urban design discipline and team, bringing his experience and thinking to many aspects of the practice’s growth strategy.
