Luciano Svagelli is from the Redfern Aboriginal community with connections to the central deserts of the Pitjantjara and Luritja peoples. Luciano is committed to contributing to his community, formerly working as a youth mentor, facilitating cultural experiences and consulting with corporate entities and government departments. Luciano is currently focused on advancing his career and making a lasting contribution to the community, drawing on his professional experience and extensive network. Actively engaged in the Redfern community, he is raising his daughter, Mirri, with his partner, Dakota.
A long-standing member of the Redfern All Blacks Rugby League Football Club since first participating in 2004 as a toddler, he now serves as Deputy Chair of the Board, a position he assumed in March 2025.
