Working with Stockland, Buchan and Urbis, Arcadia has delivered a landscape concept for the Aura Town Centre situated on Gubbi Gubbi land. Stage one presents an opportunity to contribute to a vibrant community development spanning 16,000sqm, combining retail, commercial, hospitality, entertainment and healthcare within a walkable setting open to the public realm.

Nestled between iconic bushlands and beaches, the Aura Town Centre landscape will integrate the area’s regional ecosystems back into the town centre, allowing the natural and built systems can work symbiotically. A contemporary interpretation of the Melaleuca forest and salt marshes from the past, Aura Town Centre  will reanimate the natural ecotones of the site, creating a resilient landscape that is truly unique to this place.

Arcadia’s landscape will deliver community space in an unfolding urban environment, enhancing the opportunities for connection. These include an open plaza, a play space full of art and nature and a network of walkable laneways, high street retail, connections and streetscapes inspired by the local site and character.
