Arcadia expands into the Gold Coast with new studio

09 Apr 2025 | News Stories

After seven years in Brisbane, Arcadia is expanding its presence in Southeast Queensland with a new Gold Coast studio, responding to the growth in opportunity in the region. Arcadia joined the Queensland market in 2018 under the leadership of Nathan Clausen, and in that time has built a portfolio of exciting projects across all sectors.

“Since opening in Brisbane, a good proportion of our work has come from the Gold Coast, with many of our team, including Principal Ben Newell, being highly knowledgeable of the area. We’ve seen a marked increase in active public and private projects across all sectors, and with this demand are excited to announce that we will be opening a studio on the Gold Coast,” says Alex Longley, Managing Director of Arcadia.

We will be appointing a highly skilled local team to work with Arcadia in Brisbane and nationally to deliver some of the state’s most significant projects, including an exciting pipeline of work for the 2032 Brisbane Olympic and Paralympic Games.”

Arcadia is focussed on building a team of established and experienced Gold Coast-based landscape architects and urban designers, united in the desire to expand Arcadia’s purpose of enriching community and Country.
