Arcadia has delivered a landscape concept for the proposed McNab Ave build to rent development with 702 apartments across two-towers, featuring a communal ground floor, podium, and rooftop spaces. The landscape architectural vision and design strategy will create an attractive lifestyle offering, hosting diverse amenities, events, and experiences, celebrating the existing Moreton Bay Fig and responding to the historic ornamental gardens of Footscray.

The existing Moreton Bay Fig is the centre piece of the Fig Tree Garden, a publicly accessible space and entry to both adjacent buildings. Raised timber decks provide opportunities to sit and take respite beneath the tree canopy.

The creation of a variety of communal rooftop spaces will cater to the diverse residential population, with the largest communal space on level three. The day club has a large, flexible central lawn that can be used for large gatherings and events, while still allowing for passive use. The nearby fitness club, spilling out from the gym, will provide amenities for active recreation including fitness equipment, pump track, sprints and fitness/boot camp classes.

Upper-level private terraces and communal spaces for the McNab Ave apartments will offer a variety of zones to relax, socialise, retreat for residents across the day and into the early evening, with scenic views of the city skyline.
