The Lume residential development draws inspiration from the creeks and waterways which ebb and flow throughout the leafy suburb of Gordon.

Lume has been designed to blend into the surrounding landscape. The user experience will be enriched with the different landscape typologies, including Kitchen Garden, Dog Lawn and winding pathway connecting the residences to the natural surroundings, natural creek bed and raised boardwalk. Charging stations in the communal area enable you to work outdoors for a change of scenery, creating a space which is unique to other local developments. Warm and welcoming for users to spend time within, the materiality responds to the heritage and context of Sydney’s North Shore.

Sustainable living is a key design principle for this development with the relationship between the indoors and outdoors strengthened by the use of endemic species responding to its unique environment. The planting palette will be low-maintenance and able to respond to the in flux dry and wet seasons, with robust, sustainable materials.
