At 132 Kavanagh St in Southbank, Boyd Village, is being developed alongside to the site of the heritage-listed JH Boyd Girls High School, now the Boyd Community Hub and the Boyd Park.

Arcadia has designed a landscape that will complement nearby parks, gardens, and planned renewal projects while creating a distinct micro neighbourhood for future residents of the build to rent and affordable vertical village.

Residents will enjoy premium amenities including a swimming pool, gym, multipurpose fitness room, outdoor barbeque areas, co-working spaces, a library, and a games room.

While the development will capture a modern feel, the architecture has been inspired by the adjacent heritage building housing the Boyd Community Hub, an old brick school building constructed between 1884 and 1885.

Boyd Village will be an intersection of all that makes up Southbank’s unique urban fabric.
