COVID-19: Update on Arcadia’s Response

16 Mar 2020 | News

At Arcadia we have been monitoring the spread of COVID-19 infections in Australia so that we can best prepare for this unfolding situation.

Like every business, our first priority is our people and Arcadia is taking measures to protect the continuing good health of our staff and their families.

We have prepared for a range of business impact scenarios to ensure that our studios continue to provide our clients and collaborators with the outputs required to complete projects, while remaining our high standards of design and delivery. This may mean that the way we collaborate or the location that we work from changes, but Arcadia has robust technology solutions in place so that minimal disruption occurs.

From this week changes will include:

  • Working from home: A number of Arcadia personnel will begin working remotely. This will not impact the delivery of our work in any way – they will be available on mobiles or email as per usual, and video conferencing will be used as appropriate.
  • Reduced face-to-face meetings: We’re not the only company reviewing the way we meet. With video conferencing available, that will become our preferred platform for meetings, however there will be specific situations where meeting in person is essential, when we of course will follow all guidelines to prevent the spread of the virus.
  • Reduced travel: We will be reviewing the need for any travel on a case-by-case basis.

With the fluidity of the situation, our processes and protocols are ready to adapt to suit the situation, and may be updated at any stage – to align with current advice.
