Parvenu at Strathfield Golf Club in the news

Arcadia has designed the landscape for Metro Property Development’s first NSW apartment project, Parvenu, a 2 hectare site which is part of the Strathfield Golf Club. The project received DA approval from Strathfield Council for a new residential community on the site, comprising 50 luxury Town Homes and 178 apartments, with expectations to launch in the next six weeks.

The Urban Developer covered the story, including commentary from Alex.

“With views and proximity to the Strathfield Golf Course helping define the character of Parvenu, Arcadia’s landscape design looks to capture the lifestyle and amenity of its location, whilst the high end materiality and bespoke detailing used in the hardscape elements reflect the premium quality of the overall development,” says Alex Longley, principal of Arcadia Landscape Architecture.

“The communal open spaces of Parvenu will offer an exceptional calibre of amenity , with high quality finishes and furnishing used throughout the al fresco dining areas and playgrounds. Open spaces are separated by flora and fauna connections, using a planting palette that will connect the golf course into the grounds of Parvenu and through to the vegetated setback of the school to the south.”
