With more than 18 months since Arcadia embarked on their first BIM project, the team has progressed to working in BIM across a number of projects in the Health, Education, Infrastructure and Residential space in public and private sectors.
The Arcadia team has established a set of market leading processes and techniques, specific to Landscape Architecture, through contributions from Senior Associate Chris Tidswell and BIM Manager, Mo Khallaf. Chris gained his experience through the delivery of a range of complex Sydney Metro projects, while Mo developed expertise in BIM, working in New York and the Middle East, and is a lecturer at the University of Technology, Sydney.
Currently 40 per cent of Arcadia’s design staff actively work in BIM. An ongoing training program, under the direction of Chris and Mo, aims to have 80 per cent of the team working in BIM by the start of 2019.
