There’s been a lot going on at Arcadia lately. First up, Arcadia has moved into a new studio space! We love Jones Bay Wharf, so we’ve stuck with the winning location and moved four spaces down. The team is loving the extra room and additional meeting spaces – collaboration is a huge part of our culture, so it’s inspirational to have more areas to get together to discuss our work.
We’ve also welcomed Matt Durning as a full time Senior Landscape Architect. With over seven years experience, Matt is bringing his passion for creating truly memorable and meaningful public spaces to the team. And also his passion for the All Blacks and the Black Caps…. yep, we have another Kiwi in the studio!
We’re thrilled that Aidan Smith will be joining us full time as a Landscape Architect when he graduates. Aidan has been working with us as a Landscape Technician for the past couple of years while completing his Landscape Architecture degree at UNSW. He’s a walking “What Plant is That?” and we look forward to seeing his design and graphic skills continue to develop.
And finally, Julia Delaney has joined us as our new Studio Manager. She’s an organisational genius who’s going to help take us to the next level with our studio administration and office management.
